So, besides spazzing over Korean boybands, and taking an awful lot of pictures till her HDD bursts, I also have some liking towards interior deco. I don't think I'm fairly good with it though, but I like seeing cool neat interiors that (haha I wish) can be implemented in my room (or house, someday, when I'm rich and happy ~~and married to G-Dragon.~~)

Alas, today I share you one of my favourite sites on the net, On My Desk. On My Desk showcases the workspace of designers, illustrators, and basically those folks on the creative side, and they share on how they go about organizing gazillions of their work tools and such. It's an awesome place to scout around for ideas on organizing if you're a junkie-rat like me (I can never throw something away ;_;), or just to see the place where all the magic happens.

I was looking forward to these for the longest time. Looks like all the waiting has paid off really well, seeing how fabulous these shots look.

I've seen them floating around in the net, but nothing amazes me more than this set of photos.

Explosions In The Sky was great that night, and I've been trying to find photographs that can justify their awesome-ness. Googled, and found these on flickr, and I've never looked back ever since.

Ok so this morning I was catching up with my MULTIPLE-AND-STILL-GROWING-IN-TERMS-OF-NUMBERS fandoms, and I saw the picture that took my breath away for about ten seconds:

I mean, oh dear god. G-Dragon WHY SO SMEX? How the hell can a 19-year-old look this good? But then again I should know better, since Changmin ain't growing uglier by the minute. And then I decided to take a look into his group, Big Bang. All I can find is splashes of colours thrown here and there and they all look nothing but AMAZING.

omg im so sorry for not updating so bloody long T_T (sorry izyan ^^;;) but im keeping myself busy, plus i dont really know what to write about. but after seeing this photo of suju, i thought, "ahh i need to blog this". so instead of going on my personal blog, i go on rokkuko :D

arent suju the cutest? haha and i love love love the maskkkkk hahaha. kibummie's (2nd last) is just perfect for him. the eyes are like saying "yeah pfft like whatev." and and and i think hyukjae's (2nd line, 3rd one from left, i think it's him ^^;;) is awesome as well. hahaha it fits perfectly with his smile, no? plus the eyes are just whacked. haha funny stuff. andd heechul's haha i think that's baby stewie's eyes (from the family guy)? looks like it, but not sure though.

I was browsing around LiveJournal the other day and I stumbled upon this amazing photography project:

I mean, what can I say? It's truly brilliant, and it gives us more reason to appreciate the people around us. The ones that usually sit at the back and keep on giving us strength to go on, the one whom we would call after having a bad day at work, the one who would give us ten bucks when we ran out of money, the one who would lament and cry their eyeballs out to us when his/her cat died, the one who is just there for us.

Have you had that person in your life? I'm sure you have.

The Ones We Love also showcases some of my favourite photographers on the net (read: Ian Adams <3). I love the fact that everybody tells a story about the person that is inside their photographs, and I love how the photographs are not pretentious, and they have this power of exuding this...melodramatic feeling inside you. I love these type of photos.

Hi! I'm sorry for not updating for quite some time, life has been boggling me like woah @_@ But nevertheless, I'm here, and today, instead of the whole pretty boy love that I usually share, I'll share one of my favourite photographers on the net.

I love candid pictures. I think I love candid pictures more than anything else in the whole world, because it just shows the true emotion of a person, if captured in the right way and the right moment. Taking candid pictures is somehow like playing with your luck, but then again nobody said you can't be good at it :)

Here's motionid aka Sean Wood, whom I think has mastered the art of candid photography. The colours are amazing, and the composition is just right. And the timing too! I could go on and on about this guy, but you need to take a look at it yourself.

Have anybody watched this before?

I've been liking Base Ball Baer's music since earlier this year, thanks to Muna, who keeps on providing me greattttt music since 2003 lol. Anyways, the song is cute, and it's addictive, like their previous releases. I suck in writing music reviews anyways.

BUT.

The real reason of why I can't seem to stop looping the PV is their bassist. Shiori (yeah, that's her name) wears some really comfortable-looking clothes there. And I like her red shoes. And I like the whole concept of the pv, stripping, but not to their core. When I first watched it, I kept on thinkin "Oh, this would be their last layer..." then POP! There's another one! Hahaha. And isn't the translation of the lyrics cute? Aww I love the song so much.

Mizushima Hiro's 2nd Photobook - With You

These are just gorgeous. I love looking at Japanese photobooks because that is how I learn how to shoot portraits better, but these are just. wow. breathtaking. One thing I like about Japanese photobooks is that it always shows how relaxed a person is - he/she is either on a date, or just walking around, or at home, drinking cola. I like seeing different angles on everyday activities/things. I think that sort of stuff inspires me more than anything else.

Alright, some of my favourites;

Men's Non-No November 2007 - Advertisement

I don't have the full scans of the mag (will probably get them soon at Kinokuniya), but I saw this somewhere in a livejournal community, and couldn't resist putting it up here.

Cool, right? The one on the left is Yamashita Tomohisa, otherwise known as YamaPi, and on the right is (what I believe to be) is Nishikido Ryo. Both are from the overly popular Johnny's Entertainment boyband, NewS.

I have no comment about the clothes, because it is so ~*STELLAR*~, but I love how clean-cut the ad looks. And how symmetrical it is. Yes. And don't let me get started with the fact that they are wearing Chuck Taylors, coz I seem to have an affinity with guys who wears those lovely pair of sneakers.

A Tribute to Yunho, the Charismatic Leader of DBSK

Yunho is not exactly my favourite DBSK member. But without him, there would be no DBSK at all. He is the leader, and a very charismatic one at that. He really loves his fans and he pretty much disregard his own health to make the fans happy T_T I feel like he takes the image everywhere, you know being a leader and all I guess he needs to portray that image to fans and public. In my opinion, he's doing a great job at it too.

Lovely coat colour, and the undercoat (?) as well. I mean, I love the combination of grey, black and white. And he shows a nice amount of cuffs there.

I've always love nicely fit shirt on men. Shirts should never be baggy, but it shouldnt be that tight either. The pants are a bit high-waisted, and it makes him look even taller, which is pure smex on its own. Black shoes can never go wrong. All in all, he looks awesome.

I absolutely love the layering look here. I believe that's a cardigan underneath the jacket? He buttoned it up a bit and let the tee underneath peeks out which is a great look.

Nothing much to say here, only that Yunho ahhh~ Why you so awesomeeeee? 8D

Again, a nice colour, and a verrry nice fit. Makes him look taller, no? Oh and the necklace! 8D

Love the plaid shirt with the waist coat. And the hat! 8D

First of all, I want to extend my thanks to Astro for adding KBS World channel inside their line up because it has made my day so much brighter today.

I watched Big Bang on KBS today. And discovered the awesome-ness of G-Dragon. He used to do his up his hair into this tiny bun (you can see that in their "Lies" MV - which is A+ btw), but he got new hair now, and it is so pretty and shiny like you wouldn't believe.

Okay, I don't get that scarf around his neck either, but he looks awesome with it, yes?

SUCH PRETTY HAIR I WANTS TO BE TOUCHING IT *ahem*

But this time around, I saw all of these compiled in an entry in a community in livejournal, and I felt compelled to put them here for my reference in the future. I love how these boys look recently, and Micky, who likes fashion, really know how to pull things together ~~even though his hair is crap sometimes~~.

Micky said in an interview that I watched recently that he picks his own clothes, so that's a plus point, no? And that he & Jaejoong shares the same size of clothing, so they often wear each other's clothes. How cute.

DBSK @ 10/18 Global Mind, Global Reach event

They just won't stop working and being gorgeous at it, will they? This is the day after I saw them live last Wednesday. And the reason these are here is because they looked absolutely stellar (well, when they are not anyways), and just so wangjanim-like I love love love this.

Okay, so I have this love-hate relationship with Changmin's hair (same goes to Micky's, but that's a different story). He recently chopped off his far-too-long hair, and got this really cute cut, and I'm liking it very much. He looks so young, and it's similar to his Rising Sun hair, which is mad awesome. Keep it this way, Changmin!

Micky, on the other hand, probably got a trim, judging by the length of his bangs (it used to look a bit longer than that), and I kind of doubted that long vest thing he's wearing. It's something that I would probably pass if I were to look at it on the hanger, lol. But he looks cute, with that skinny jeans, and that throw vest thing made this whole outfit look a bit relaxed. Nice.

Junsu Junsu Junsu. He's really cute as a button, and DID YOU SEE THAT RED BOXER PEEKING OUT FROM HIS PANTS? lol. Totally love this, and it seems like those DBSK stylist nuna really loves those kind of blazers? I think I've seen it on them before. But hey, never hurt to see it draping the boys again ;)

Yunho leader-shii! Is that a track jacket I see? It kind of looks like it, and it looked a bit weird to be wearing it for a show, eh? But the one Yunho's wearing doesn't really look like one, so I guess it is still okay. I still like this, but I must confess, that this look isn't my favourite one of the lot.

Jaejoong darling! A fashionista and an attention-whore who loves the camera like mad. Never seemed to get anything wrong, he's just *_* in everything. I love that stripey top (psh, I love anything stripey haha). And that jacket! And the hair. Ahhh I love everything, good god Jaejoong you just made me fall in love with you all over again.

And I noticed, that Jae likes to wear cool necklaces nowadays. A closer look of his necklace for this event;

And a recent magazine spread saw him wearing this;

Gold!

It's kind of a tradition in my family, that during every Eid, us girls has to wear some gold accessories along with our new clothes. I didn't really mind it when I was little, but as I grew older, I began to feel that gold is kinda tacky. Yes. So I stopped wearing gold, and the only accessory I wear to this day is a white gold necklace my mum gave a few years back.

But gold made a comeback a year ago, right? Now you can see everybody going for the glam look, wearing gold. I particularly like this gold jewellery worn by this girl over here:

Maybe I didn't look hard enough, but I can never seem to find gold pearly necklaces. I'm not particularly fond of pearly necklaces, so maybe that's why. So me liking this look is particularly surprising! So this is cool. And I'm not sure if she tangled the necklace herself, or it has already been made that way, but it's kinda cool to wear it like that, yes?

I also like her royal blue plaid shorts, but I shall not touch on that one, since that is a look that I cannot pull off ;)

Good, I shall be hunting for these kind of necklaces next!

FT Island in CeCi 13th Anniversary

Fine young lads. Fine, fashionable young lads. Fine, fashionable, talented young lads. Yes. Don't we all like them?

I have nothing to say except that I love these two pictures. I love how easy it looks to throw such outfits like these (do I see more skinny jeans here? Yes). And out of the five looks, I'm digging Jaejin's (first picture - middle) look the most. But then again maybe I have a weakness over men who wears cardigans haha.

This post shall serve as a reason to why I love FT Island so much :)

More fashionable men! And this time, it's Aron from Hawaii!

The thing is with Aron, he shoots with his trusty Powershot (no, that's not an SLR), and his pictures are always A+. The colours are probably edited (I'm not sure about this one), but that's not the matter here. I love the expressions of people inside his images, it spells bright and cheery to me. And the way he smiles inside his pictures! Love love love that little fact. He documents everything about his life, from his vacation trips, to his room at home.

Besides that, Aron wears stellar clothes. He is a fan of Japanese street style, so his wardrobe is largely inspired by that.

I'm a fan of Aron close to two years, and I have a feeling that I'll stay being a fan for quite some time because he inspires me so much. Quirky photos + lovely style = a definite plus in my books, yes :)

Ah and I thought I was just going to do one entry today. But I cant resist after seeing this photo by The Sartorialist, whom I think takes great, beautiful photos of everyday people of all shapes and sizes and individual styles. Truely an inspiration!

So anyway, moving on to the photo;

I love the whole combination. Love the details on her socks (?). The cutting and length of her jeans are just perfect. I love love love the colour of the jumper. Anddd I love how the length of the jumper allows just a peak of the frilly, flowery shirt below it :D Notice that even the jumper also has some details on the sleeves which are awesome. The black shoes and bag just complete the whole look. Another perfect ensemble done effortlessly :D

I prolly need to nab the turquoise satchel when I see it again.

When Myto and I were walking home from uni, we saw this young lady with probably the most awesome bag I have seen for a while. She was wearing this vintage (I assume it's vintage because of it looked kinda worn out) satchel/bag with the most awesome (sorry for the lack of adjectives. It's a longgg day) turquoise color. It's the appropriate size for uni and it has a handle for carrying and also a shoulder strap. I wish I could snatch it right off her and just run away with the bag!

Anyway, to give you an idea how the bag looks like here are some photos i snatched off ebay. Click if you're interested to buy them or anything :D

And here are a few photos of the people who I think they look really great with these kind of bags (click to go to their flickr).

I love how piksi_ wears the plum tights together with her boots. The whole ensemble looks great with that pixie cut hair. What I think is more awesome is that she dyed the H&M dress herself and turn it into that beautiful colour. And that bag (which is her school bag as well) completes the whole purple + black look. Beautiful :D

And another one,

I love the simplicity of irene's whole look but still she managed to look pretty at the same time. Again, there's the bag which looks great and practical at the same time.

After all that, personally I still love the turquoise satchel I saw just now. The colour is just O_O!!

Whenever I see an actor/singer that I loveeeeeeeee wearing something, or when they look awesome when they're wearing that item, I would suddenly feel a dire need of to have that SAME item, or at least something similar to it. Even though in some cases I dont really favour it in the first place.

But eh, I guess that's what fangirling does to you. FANGIRLING IS SRS BIZ 8D

Anyways, since I'm currently obsessed over Lee Dong Wook (the 'My Girl' star who is probably the answer to a 'perfect man'. Well, at least for me he is :D) and I found a photo of him wearing a combination of a red plaid shirt with a white tee underneath, black skinnies and shades - in which is absolutely simple but still he looks great wearing it. Seriously, this guy would look great even if it's just a plain white tee and jeans.

On the other hand, I also like the way Elijah Wood wears his plaid shirt. He pulls it off together with a green plaid scarf, brown cardigan, black converse sneakers and jeans. I like how he folds the jeans just at the right length. Andddd, he accesorize as well. Notice that he wears a brooch on the cardigan. Although I cant really see exactly what it is but it looks awesome anyway. I think he wears some sort of a satchel? which I think is really practical when you're always on-the-go like him. All in all, the whole ensemble on him looks awesome and we would just forget Frodo's hairy feet in LOTR 8D

Lastly, the Gods of the East who can NEVER be wrong. Jaejoong layers his red plaid shirt with a tee underneath and a jacket over it. Anddd he belts the shirt. Love the shoes that he's wearing with the black skinnies and so far, I think Jae is probably the only one who would look good in any hair color. Seriously. He went from black, blond, and now the latest photo I saw he had silver streaks on his hair which is absolutely stellar. Anyway, Yoochun wears his shirt underneath a puffer vest together with torn jeans for that rugged look.

Ah as a side note, I am absolutely in love with the way Changmin pulls off his red skinnies. He folds it just a bit above the ankle length and it looks great with that plain white sneakers. And say hello to Changmin's Canon EOS!

So, I think this is kinda okay for my first post. More pretty things will definitely come up your way soon!

Eunhyuk from Super Junior

I think this is the...first post? Eh. But nevermind, welcome to our humble abode and feel free to leave a comment. If you feel like you should :)

I think if you've stalked my Vox long enough, you'd know that I have an obsession with Super Junior and their clothes. (go wiki "Super Junior" if you have no idea about them). And I particularly like Eunhyuk's style - he likes wearing stripes, and long tops, and he really can pull it off without making his body look weird.

He's on the right. I am fully aware that he has an orange head. Yes. But I really like his stripey top. And I have more evidence of his stripe obsession.

As far as I know (and I haven't been roaming around, thanks to my lack of time for myself), these kind of tops are a bit hard to find in Malaysia, unless you're willing to spend some ringgit inside shops like Topman, which I don't really encourage because I believe that there are cheaper options outside there~. I found some really nice striped men cardigans while walking around in Sungei Wang Plaza, but I didn't really take note of the shops' names due to lack of time. Maybe I'll do a feature about them when Nab's back home sometime in November :)

So there you go. Stripes. Yes. Don't hesitate, Eunhyuk proved that you can never go wrong with it :)
